Child Emergency Information

As a mom, it's very difficult to trust another person to drive my kids. It's not necessarily that I don't trust the driver, because I do. I just don't trust the other drivers on the road!

Rather than make a sticker to affix to the car seats, I made a piece of paper that slides into an envelope which will be taped to the side of the seat. If there is ever an accident, emergency personnel are not going to write down the information from a sticker, nor are they going to take the seat with. Having an envelope taped but the paper easily accessible means they have the information at their fingertips.

Contents on the card include:
  • Child's name
  • Date of Birth
  • Address
  • Parents names and numbers
  • Emergency contact information including nicknames (ie. grandparents first and last name but "grandpa" is also written)
  • Pediatrician name and number
  • Allergies
  • Who's car the child is in (ie. this is my nanny's car. Her name is____)
